INFO ABOUT MERLES: Esther, their mom, is a "cryptic" or "phantom" merle. She has the merle gene, but you can't tell by looking at her coat. Sam is not a merle. Because Esther carries the merle gene, she will have some puppies who also carry that gene. There are two merles in this litter - Merles will often have blue eyes or a little blue in their eyes (such as Esther). Isn't God amazing?
